The role available is on the Customer Service & E-Commerce team, emphasizing a vital position within Whole Foods Market’s retail operations. This role primarily involves supporting customers during their check-out experience, including performing cash register functions, assisting at the customer service desk, bagging groceries, and maintaining customer service displays. Job Requirements

- must be able to lift 50 pounds

Job Duties
- checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately
- upholds government regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation
- follows proper check, ATM, and credit procedures
- uses proper tares procedures when ringing up scalable items
- cleans and stocks Front End areas, including own register
- follows all cash handling procedures
- assists with training of new Cashier and Cashier Assistant Team Members
- assists supervisor in controlling customer flow and reducing waiting times
- participates in company programs as directed by leadership
- arrives to workstation on time and ready to work
- provides excellent customer service and addresses customer needs promptly
- maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product
- follows and complies with health, sanitation, and safe work practices
- maintains clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
- performs opening, mid, and closing duties
