Job Description
Peter Piper Pizza is a cherished family dining and entertainment restaurant known for creating joyful, lasting memories through its quality food, engaging entertainment, and welcoming neighborhood pizzeria atmosphere. As part of CEC Entertainment, LLC, which is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, Peter Piper Pizza operates alongside iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese and Chuck's Arcade. The company boasts nearly 120 venues across 18 countries, fostering a culture based on food, fun, and family, with an emphasis on delivering exceptional guest experiences. At Peter Piper Pizza, the commitment to safety, health, and customer satisfaction is paramount, supported by rigorous health and sanitation standards that meet or exceed local requirements. CEC Entertainment is headquartered in Irving, Texas, and has earned accolades including the "Best in STEM" award and recognition as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, highlighting its dedication to innovation and the well-being of its employees.
The role of Cashier at Peter Piper Pizza is fundamental to the company’s frontline guest service team. Cashiers take customer orders, process payments, assist with prize distribution, and help maintain a clean and safe work environment in a fast-paced, energetic setting. This position offers the opportunity to learn every aspect of restaurant operations—from guest service and food preparation to cash handling—which makes it an excellent starting point for those interested in a career in the hospitality industry. Peter Piper Pizza values team member growth and has a strong record of internal promotions, with 70% of its management team having advanced from within. The employment type is hourly, and the company offers a unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program that provides access to earned wages quickly, eliminating the long wait between paychecks.
Team members in this position will have access to a comprehensive benefits package through CEC Entertainment, designed to support employees nationwide. This package includes telemedicine, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees may also enroll in fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental, vision options, and voluntary life and disability benefits. Full-time employees have access to comprehensive medical, dental, vision, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays, FSA/HSA options, life and disability insurance, voluntary benefits, legal coverage, and additional education and student loan support. Moreover, the company complies with state and local regulations by providing paid sick leave and other benefits as required.
Peter Piper Pizza fosters an inclusive work culture, celebrates diversity, and is committed to equal opportunity employment. It does not discriminate based on race, ancestry, color, genetics, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, age, physical or mental disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected class. The company provides reasonable accommodations to allow individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. Joining the team at Peter Piper Pizza means becoming part of a family-oriented environment where the “fun is baked in” and every team member contributes to making every guest visit memorable. This role is not only about serving food and operating cash registers—it is about being part of a vibrant community that values hard work, teamwork, and above all, fun.
