CEC Entertainment prides itself on fostering diversity, inclusion, and a vibrant company culture that unites families through play and shared experiences.
The role of Cashier at Chuck E. Cheese represents the frontline of guest service, making it a critical position for maintaining the company's reputation for excellent customer experiences. Cashiers are responsible for taking orders, processing payments, assisting with prizes, and supporting daily operations with an energetic and enthusiastic demeanor. This role is ideal for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a career in the hospitality and entertainment industry, as it offers significant opportunities for growth. Over 60 percent of Chuck E. Cheese managers are promoted from within, demonstrating the company's commitment to career development. The position offers a unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program that provides employees access to earned wages daily rather than waiting for traditional pay periods. Commission opportunities exist for selling memberships and Fun Passes, adding an additional earning potential to the base compensation. Cashiers must be comfortable performing physical tasks such as lifting objects up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods while interacting with guests and coworkers in a stimulating environment featuring flashing lights, moving parts, and lively noises. This role requires versatility, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. CEC Entertainment provides competitive benefits, including telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, tuition savings, scholarships, and financial assistance resources. Part-time and full-time employees have access to varying medical, dental, vision, and voluntary benefits tailored to their employment status. The company complies with all state and local laws, ensuring paid sick leave and other mandated benefits. CEC Entertainment is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity, fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace for all employees regardless of their background or identity.
