Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade, CEC has been a pioneer in creating unforgettable experiences through food, fun, and community engagement. Operating nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC celebrates over half a million birthdays annually and is deeply committed to fostering happy, safe environments where kids and families can play and create lasting memories. The company is renowned for its emphasis on safety, innovation, and community support — evidenced by programs like Kid Check® and charitable contributions exceeding $24 million to schools and nonprofits. In 2025, CEC received the "Best in STEM" award and was named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, underscoring its dedication to both innovation in entertainment and employee well-being.

The company’s culture champions diversity, inclusion, and a dynamic, fun workplace atmosphere that empowers employees to thrive and grow. CEC Entertainment offers a comprehensive benefits package and prioritizes internal development, with over 60% of management roles filled by promotions from within. Their "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program allows cast members, including cashiers, timely access to earned wages, which helps support financial flexibility and reduces stress.

Currently, CEC Entertainment is hiring Cashiers who will be the frontline ambassadors of guest service. Cashiers play an integral role in creating positive guest experiences by taking orders, processing payments, handling prizes, and assisting guests with enthusiasm and professionalism. This position is ideal for first-time job seekers or individuals looking to build a thriving career in the hospitality and entertainment industry. The role requires a vibrant, energetic personality and excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to work various shifts.

The job environment includes engaging diverse tasks and demands physical activity such as lifting up to 50 pounds and being able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, walk, and squat during shifts. Cashiers must also be adept at managing workplace stress and maintaining effective communication with guests and co-workers amidst a lively environment filled with flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud sounds. This challenges and builds resilience, making it a rewarding entry into the family entertainment sector.

CEC Entertainment offers a benefits and perks package tailored to support employees at all levels, including telemedicine, early wage access, 401(k) retirement options, meal discounts, tuition savings, scholarships, and more. Part-time employees have access to fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental and vision plans, and voluntary life and short-term disability benefits, while full-time staff with regular hours qualify for comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, paid sick and vacation leave, holiday pay, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, legal coverage, and additional educational support.

CEC Entertainment is committed to providing reasonable accommodations and maintaining strict health and sanitation standards to protect the safety and well-being of both employees and guests. Their inclusive hiring practices promote diversity and equal opportunities for all applicants regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, or other protected classes. This vibrant, fun-filled workplace offers both career development opportunities and a supportive environment dedicated to creating exceptional family entertainment experiences. Join CEC Entertainment as a Cashier and contribute to the joyful mission of creating the best place for kids and families to eat and play while enjoying competitive earnings with commission potentials and a comprehensive benefits package.
