The position of Customer Service Crew Member or Food/Kitchen Service Crew Member is essential to ensuring guest satisfaction and operational excellence. This role is ideal for friendly, helpful individuals who thrive in a fast-paced setting and enjoy working collaboratively with teammates and delivery partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting and engaging guests positively, accurately processing orders and payments, responding efficiently to guest inquiries or concerns, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Those in the Food/Kitchen Service position will also prepare ingredients and menu items, restock workstations, operate kitchen equipment such as ovens and fryers, and uphold sanitation standards. A key component of this role is providing excellent customer service, supporting team efforts, and maintaining a welcoming ambiance for guests.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • No previous experience required
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and training materials
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance
  • Must get along well with coworkers and guests through a positive and friendly demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Customer service experience is a plus but not required
  • Basic food safety knowledge is beneficial
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Positive and friendly demeanor
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures

Job Duties

  • Greet and positively engage guests in the restaurant
  • Accurately accept guests' orders and process payments
  • Address and resolve all guest inquiries and concerns in a timely manner
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and comfortable area for guests and team members
  • Work well with delivery partners
  • Maintain facility cleanliness by completing general cleaning tasks including wiping tables, washing dishes, sweeping and mopping floors
  • Answer questions about menu items and promotions
  • Prepare ingredients and menu items
  • Restock product and workstations
  • Use food preparation equipment including ovens, fryers, grills and various kitchen equipment
  • Maintain a clean work environment by completing general cleaning tasks including wiping workstations, cleaning equipment, washing dishes, and sweeping and mopping floors
