The position we are currently offering plays a crucial role within our food service operations. As a team member involved in kitchen and customer service activities, the role focuses on ensuring efficiency, food quality, and excellent customer interaction. Essential responsibilities include greeting guests with enthusiasm, taking accurate customer orders, preparing and serving food promptly, maintaining strict food safety protocols, and handling payments with accuracy. This role requires operating food preparation equipment, maintaining cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas, restocking frequently used items such as drinks and condiments, and communicating effectively with management regarding supply needs. The atmosphere is fast-paced yet friendly, with emphasis on teamwork and effective communication. This full-time or part-time position offers competitive pay ranging from $12 to $16 per hour, supplemented by an incentive package based on attendance, safety, attitude, and performance. Job Duties
- greet every guest with an enthusiastic welcome as they enter the cafe
- take orders from customers at counter
- prepare order and check that it is accurate before serving to a customer
- operate the equipment required for preparing food and ensure that is working properly
- maintain food safety and standards in food preparation and personal hygiene
- enter customer orders and compute bill using cash registers
- accept payment from customers and make change as necessary
- keep items needed at drink-dispensing and condiment area filled
- clean and organize dining and kitchen areas
- notify management of food or beverage shortages
