As a Cashier at Total Wine & More, you play an essential role in creating a positive and efficient customer experience. This position involves processing sales transactions accurately and providing fast, friendly service that leaves customers feeling valued and appreciated. While the primary focus is on cashier duties, you may also be assigned responsibilities as a sales associate or merchandiser/stock associate to support store operations. Internally referred to as a Front End Team Member, this role reports directly to the store management team and offers opportunities for growth within the company. The hourly pay range for this regular, full-time or part-time position is $18.55 to $25.97, reflecting the company’s commitment to fair and competitive compensation.

In your role, you will greet customers warmly, assist with inquiries, and promote the store's loyalty program to enhance customer engagement and retention. You will take part in specialized training sessions focused on wine, spirits, and beer to build your product knowledge, enabling you to share valuable information and recommendations with customers. Maintaining awareness of current promotions, advertisements, and loyalty rewards is essential to help customers maximize their shopping experience. Additionally, you will contribute to maintaining the store’s safety and cleanliness standards to ensure a welcoming environment for both customers and staff.

Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol is a critical aspect of this position. You will be responsible for verifying identification, ensuring responsible sales practices, and upholding a safe and compliant store environment. Your role may also involve cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned by management, providing a dynamic and varied work experience. Seasonal positions are available with the option to apply for non-seasonal roles, offering flexibility and potential long-term employment.
