- ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to handle cash and perform transactions accurately
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds

Job Qualifications
- basic math skills preferred
- prior cashier or sales experience preferred
Job Duties
- exhibits clear understanding of all BJ’s membership options including renewals and loyalty programs
- offer all appropriate membership products such as renewal and rewards redemption
- provide high level of customer service to members
- scan all merchandise accurately through point-of-sale system
- collect payments via cash, check, or charge
- issue receipts or change to members
- maintain frontline cleanliness and assist in club housekeeping
- manage self-checkout and assist members with technical difficulties
- meet cashier productivity expectations
- uphold all club policies and procedures
- perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments
