As a Lowe's cashier, you play a vital role in ensuring customers leave the store satisfied and with a positive shopping experience. Positioned at the frontline of customer interaction, you will provide quick, friendly, and professional checkout service that reflects Lowe's commitment to customer care. This role involves managing cash registers, processing payments and exchanges, accurately scanning and bagging items, and assisting customers with questions and self-checkout areas. While most of your time will be spent processing transactions, you may also support other departments by stocking shelves, moving carts, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Job Requirements
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
- Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state
