Cashiers are responsible for providing excellent customer service by greeting guests, responding to inquiries, and assisting patrons with reservations for park shelters, sports fields, and recreational programs.

The Cashier position requires handling cash and electronic payments with accuracy, operating the point-of-sale (POS) system effectively, and maintaining accountability by balancing cash drawers and following county-established cash handling procedures. Additionally, the role supports various departmental operations by maintaining clean and organized cashier stations and assisting with basic clerical tasks such as filing and answering phones.
