This broad reach allows Guest Services to cater to a wide variety of customers, providing exceptional service and quality at every location.

Guest Services prides itself on fostering an inclusive work environment and is committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). The company values the richness that diversity brings and strives to create a workplace where individuals can truly be themselves. This inclusive ethos enables the team to deliver superior service to their broad and varied customer base. As an Equal Opportunity Employer, Guest Services ensures all qualified applicants receive fair consideration for employment and career advancement without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.

The role of the Cashier at Guest Services is pivotal to maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency. The Cashier is primarily responsible for handling monetary transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring that customers receive prompt and courteous service. This role demands attention to detail when identifying items and calculating the cost using cash registers or other pricing equipment. Beyond the transactional duties, cashiers are expected to manage the cash register and its contents securely and reconcile sales at the end of each shift.

Customer interaction is a vital aspect of the Cashier position. Cashiers greet customers warmly, answer their queries regarding products, promotions, and company policies, and express gratitude to each guest to enhance their overall experience. Maintaining cleanliness and organization around the cash station and sales area is also essential, reflecting the company’s commitment to professional presentation and sanitation.

The position requires individuals with basic mathematical skills, a professional appearance, and excellent communication abilities to ensure guests feel valued and well-attended. Cash handling training is mandatory, reinforcing the importance of accuracy and security in managing customer payments. Problem sensitivity is another key skill, enabling cashiers to recognize potential issues promptly and escalate them to management for resolution.

Physically, the role demands stamina and mobility, including standing throughout the workday, moving about the unit frequently, and occasionally lifting items up to 25 pounds. Cashiers must be able to work comfortably in both indoor and outdoor environments subject to varying temperature conditions. Clear verbal communication in English is essential, as is the ability to read and interpret work-related documents.

Familiarity with the cash register or computer systems used at the unit is important for efficient operation.
