This is a pivotal role as the Cashier will be the first point of contact for customers entering the shop or calling in for their orders. The role requires someone who is enthusiastic about providing warm welcomes, taking orders accurately, and processing payments efficiently. Beyond transactional duties, the Cashier will need to maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the menu to answer any customer inquiries and support the preparation of orders by organizing tickets and packing food items. The Cashier will also help keep the shop clean and running smoothly by performing various side duties including handling pizza box assembly, managing portion control for sauces and cheeses, and maintaining the cleanliness of customer areas and workspaces. \n\nThis full-time or part-time employment opportunity offers competitive compensation starting from $16.90 to $18 per hour, with the potential to earn $2 to $5 more per hour through tips, making it a financially rewarding position. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in cashier or customer service role preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
Proficiency in handling cash and operating POS systems
Basic knowledge of food safety practices
Capability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle cash and operate point of sale systems accurately
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards

Job Duties

Greet all guests with a warm welcome and provide exceptional customer service
Take customer orders both in person at the counter and over the phone
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
Accept cash or credit card payments and provide appropriate change
Possess thorough knowledge of the menu and products to answer customer questions effectively
Organize order tickets for dine-in, take-out, and delivery orders
Pack food items, reheat pizza slices, and prepare side items such as wings, garlic knots, and meatballs
Adhere to company policies, health, safety, and employment standards
Perform main side duties including building pizza boxes to meet par requirements, portioning sauces, cheese, and peppers, and general shop maintenance such as sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces
Assist with additional side duties such as upkeep housekeeping duties like dishes and maintaining cleanliness of bathrooms
