The position available is for a full-time Food Service Worker – Cashier with an evening shift starting at noon (12:00 pm) and ending at 8:30 pm, including every other weekend and some holidays. This role is integral to the food service department and focuses on delivering excellent customer service while supporting food preparation and service operations. The Food Service Worker – Cashier is responsible for performing cashier duties such as accurately handling transactions, managing cash and receipts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Additionally, the role involves assisting with food preparation tasks like washing, peeling, cutting, and measuring ingredients, as well as ensuring food quality, safety, and sanitation standards are strictly maintained throughout the service. - Ability to make change for cash payments make transactions with acceptable forms of payment and issue receipts to customers

Job Duties
- Provide prompt courteous and efficient service to customers following established service procedures
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally escalating issues to supervisors as needed
- Process accurate sales transactions using a cash register ensuring all purchases are properly recorded
- Manage cash change funds and receipts in accordance with company policies and overage shortage standards
- Accept various forms of payment issue receipts and follow procedures for refunds and adjustments
- Monitor customer purchases to ensure proper portion control and adherence to pricing standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as washing peeling cutting and measuring ingredients
- Transport food items and supplies safely between workstations maintaining proper handling procedures
- Store food items correctly by following labeling dating and rotation guidelines to ensure freshness and safety
- Clean and sanitize work areas equipment and utensils according to health and safety standards
- Distribute supplies utensils and portable equipment as needed to support food service operations
- Follow approved recipes and production standards to maintain food quality temperature and portion consistency
- Collaborate with team members to uphold service standards and ensure accurate inventory and cash control
- Comply with all sanitation safety and food handling regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall food service operations
