Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1 year cashier experience for Head Cashier
- excellent customer service skills
- strong communication skills
- ability to handle cash accurately
- knowledge of point of sale systems
- capability to follow company policies and procedures
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications

- minimum of 1 year of cashier experience for Head Cashier role
- excellent customer service skills
- strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- leadership and supervisory experience preferred for Head Cashier
- ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- basic math and cash handling skills
- familiarity with point of sale systems
- ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
Job Duties
- Process checkout and return transactions
- monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
- proactively seek product and project knowledge to provide customers with information
- identify selling opportunities
- follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrink
- position cashiers and support them by expediting price checks
- approve point of sale transactions and markdowns for mainline registers, self-checkout, returns, pro desk, special services, and tool rental
- provide first level escalation for customer issues
- assist in the supervision, coaching and training of front end associates by participating in training of new cashiers and utilizing all available tools to coach and develop other cashiers
