Morrison Healthcare is currently hiring for a full-time Cashier position at VCU Children's Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. This role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $15.60 to $15.65 and includes a $500 sign-on bonus, free parking, and a $1.00 per hour weekend shift differential.

The Cashier position involves handling cash transactions efficiently and accurately while providing excellent customer service within a hospital food service environment. Responsibilities include operating the cash register, processing payments, issuing receipts, and managing cash drawers with strict adherence to company cash control procedures. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining and service areas and restocking supplies as needed. Candidates with prior customer service and cash handling experience are preferred to ensure smooth, friendly interactions with customers, including patients, visitors, and hospital staff. This position may require rotating weekend shifts and variable hours, providing flexibility and the opportunity to contribute positively to the hospital community.
