The role of Cashier at Eurest is a full-time position located at the Darden Headquarters in Orlando, Florida. This position offers a fixed hourly pay rate of $16.00 and follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 am to 2:30 pm. The Cashier is a key player in the customer service experience, responsible for handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Beyond simple transactions, this role demands attention to detail in cash drawer management, receipt verification, and the ability to resolve customer issues in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
In this role, the Cashier performs sales transactions, enters all sales into the cash register to ensure proper recording, makes change, accepts various forms of payment including declining balance cards, and issues receipts to customers while following standard procedures for cash refunds. The position also involves general food service duties such as replenishing condiments, beverages, and maintaining the cleanliness and restocking of service areas including pastry cases. The role requires maintaining sanitation standards according to company policy and safety regulations including ServSafe compliance. Cash handling is critical, as the Cashier is responsible for all assigned funds and cash receipts, ensuring compliance with overage/shortage standards.
