Bon Appetit is currently hiring for full-time Cashier positions based at Expedia Group Way in Seattle, WA. This role offers a fixed pay rate of $21.30 per hour with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing excellent work-life balance and consistent hours. Job Requirements
- Previous barista experience preferred
- Valid Food Handler's card preferred
- Ability to perform cashier duties including managing cash transactions
- Availability to work full time Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to maintain sanitation standards
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Must be able to comply with company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous barista experience preferred
- Valid Food Handler's card preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle cash and operate a cash register accurately
- Knowledge of sanitation and food safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good organizational skills
Job Duties
- Perform sales transactions in a timely fashion
- Enter all sales into the cash register to ensure accurate purchase records
- Make change and accept various forms of payment including declining balance cards
- Issue receipts to customers
- Follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds
- Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Maintain assigned change funds and cash receipts ensuring compliance with overage/shortage standards
- Replenish condiments, coffee, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness
- Keep pastry case stocked
- Ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory, cash control, sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
