The role of Cashier at Total Wine & More is vital in shaping the customer experience by providing fast, friendly, and efficient service at the front end of the store. Known internally as Front End Team Members, Cashiers directly influence the customer's impression of the company by accurately processing transactions, verifying identification, answering questions about products and promotions, and promoting loyalty programs. While the primary responsibility of the role is cashiering, team members may also be assigned additional duties such as sales assistance or merchandising and stocking. The position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities, and if marked seasonal, it generally lasts no longer than six months, with an option to apply for non-seasonal roles.

Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day
- Climb ladders and lift 50 lbs overhead and repeatedly
- May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years of work experience, 1+ years of retail experience preferred
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems

Job Duties
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification, payment handling, answering inquiries, promoting loyalty program, and bagging product
- Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing about products and services
- Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge
- Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store
- Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment
- Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned
