The role of a Cashier or Front End Team Member is vital in shaping the customer’s experience from the moment they enter the store until they leave. This role requires a friendly, efficient individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing personalized customer service. You will be responsible for processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently, which includes handling payments, verifying identification for certain products, answering customer inquiries, and promoting the store’s loyalty program. Your engagement with customers will include greeting them warmly, building relationships through informative and helpful interaction, and sharing knowledge about current promotions and products. Additionally, you will undergo specialized training in products such as wine, spirits, and beer to enhance your product knowledge and provide accurate information that supports responsible purchasing.

Maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant store environment is another critical element of this role. You will ensure adherence to all laws and regulations concerning the sale of alcohol, maintain safety standards across the store, and participate actively in cross-functional responsibilities as assigned by management. The position demands physical stamina, including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting heavy items, and working in varying weather conditions if required. The schedule is flexible but may include evenings and weekends to meet the business demands.
