Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience preferred but not required
- Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, with varying hours
- Ability to perform cashiering duties including handling cash and operating a cash register
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a foodservice environment while maintaining sanitation and safety standards
- Must comply with drug-free workplace policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior cashiering or cash handling experience preferred but not required
- Basic math skills and cash handling abilities
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards such as ServSafe is a plus
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in foodservice settings
Job Duties
- Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion
- Enters all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded
- Makes change, accepts declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment
- Issues receipts to customers
- Follows standard procedures for issuing cash refunds
- Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts ensuring that cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards
