Marshalls is currently seeking dedicated team members for their USA Marshalls Store 1271 located in Sioux Falls, SD. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow their careers in retail within a Fortune 100 company. Candidates will be involved in maintaining a clean and organized store environment while adhering to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. This entry to mid-level retail position offers a starting pay range of $13.50 to $14.00 per hour, with the actual pay determined by the candidate's relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. In this role, employees may be cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store, supporting various business needs. Team members are expected to promote and embody positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect while accurately handling customer purchases and returns. The role also includes promoting credit and loyalty programs, maintaining merchandising standards, preparing merchandise for the sales floor, and participating actively in store recovery activities to ensure organizational standards and cleanliness. The position requires adherence to labor laws, participation in shrink reduction goals, safety awareness, and the ability to provide constructive feedback within the team. Job Duties

  • Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers
  • Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect
  • Accurately rings customer purchases and returns and counts change back to customer according to established operating procedures
  • Promotes credit and loyalty programs
  • Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows established merchandising procedures and standards
  • Accurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards
  • Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed throughout the day
  • Maintains all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participates in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store
  • Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
  • Adheres to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
  • Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs
  • Participates in safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
  • Other duties as assigned
