This position is for a Senior Clerk or Secretary within the East Campus Dietary Department at East Campus Medical Center. It is a part-time career appointment with a 50% appointment percentage, offering a competitive hourly wage between $25.00 and $28.35. The role operates under the auspices of the CX Contract union, with work shifts that are variable, 8 hours long, spanning Sunday through Saturday. The selected candidate will be entrusted with managing cashier responsibilities in a fast-paced food service environment. Key duties include maintaining full responsibility for all cash and sales transactions, operating Point of Sale systems swiftly and accurately, and ensuring the cleanliness and stock of the retail cafe and coffee stations. The ability to address customer needs with diplomacy, tact, and flexibility is critical, as is a commitment to uphold departmental standards and policies.
