The Guest Service Representative position at Sycuan offers the opportunity to be on the front lines of delivering an exceptional guest experience in one of the tribe's food service venues. This role is crucial in maintaining the welcoming atmosphere that Sycuan is known for. The representative greets guests as they arrive, operates a point-of-sale (POS) system, and ensures smooth, accurate transactions with cash, credit cards, VIP points, vouchers, and discounts while adhering to established procedures. Key responsibilities also include upholding responsible alcohol beverage service policies to ensure guest safety and compliance, possessing detailed knowledge of menu items, promotions, and current events, and providing courteous, friendly service that enhances the overall guest experience. This position requires physical endurance for standing and walking up to eight hours, the ability to handle U.S. currency adeptly, strong communication skills, and the capability to maintain professionalism in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
