EYAS Hospitality Group is actively seeking Cashier Crew Members for its Burger King restaurant located at 415 Jonestown Rd., Winston-Salem, NC. This position offers both part-time and full-time roles with flexible schedules to accommodate a wide range of availability. The role of the Cashier Crew Member is pivotal to the restaurant's success, involving direct interaction with customers and team collaboration to ensure a smooth and efficient operation. As a Cashier Crew Member, you will be the face of the restaurant, responsible for greeting guests warmly, processing orders accurately through the point-of-sale system, and handling payments with attention to detail and professionalism. The role demands excellent customer service skills, the ability to resolve complaints respectfully, and consistent adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.

Besides managing transactions, Cashier Crew Members also assist in assembling food orders, maintaining cleanliness in various areas including dining spaces and restrooms, and following proper cash handling procedures. This role requires physical stamina and flexibility, as team members will be expected to stand for extended periods, handle food packaging and organization, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or food service preferred
  • Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems accurately
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Reliable transportation
  • Physical capability to perform duties including standing and lifting
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety standards

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, prioritize and organize while having a sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet guests making eye contact, smiling and answering questions about the menu
  • Accurately input orders into the POS system, including modifications and special requests
  • Process cash, credit card and other forms of payment, ensuring correct change is given
  • Suggest additional items or combos to customers based on promotions and their orders
  • Maintain a balanced cash drawer, following proper cash handling procedures
  • Resolve customer complaints with respect and process refunds as needed
  • Assemble food orders according to specifications, including packaging and condiments
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including counters, register, dining room, restroom and exterior
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
  • Count cash drawers and follow proper daily cash handling procedures
