Located in the prestigious Bal Harbour area of Florida, the St. Regis property at 9703 Collins Ave invites applicants to join its team as a Non-Management Food and Beverage professional within the Private Dining segment. This is a full-time position based on-site, offering candidates a unique opportunity to contribute to delivering the signature St. Regis experience. The job focuses on handling all payment processing accurately and in compliance with hotel accounting procedures and audit standards, ensuring safe and accurate cash control during shifts.

The role requires a high level of responsibility in managing assigned cash registers, including preparing the cash float with the necessary change, securing the cash register at all times, and balancing it at shift end. The position entails setting up and maintaining a clean and organized cashier workstation, completing opening tasks such as ensuring all necessary supplies and instruments are ready, and using point-of-sale systems to enter and retrieve work-related information. Employees must uphold the company's security policies, report any accidents or unsafe conditions, and maintain professional appearance and confidentiality regarding proprietary information. The role also demands excellent guest service skills — greeting guests warmly, anticipating and meeting service needs, and maintaining positive and clear communication with team members and guests alike.

Candidates will be expected to perform physical activities such as standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, as well as lifting and moving light objects up to 10 pounds. Job Duties

  • Process all payment methods according to accounting procedures and policies
  • comply with audit standards for hotel cash control and cash handling procedures
  • obtain assigned cash register and verify cash accuracy including securing necessary change
  • compute cash register at shift end, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, deliver receipts and secure the register
  • transport cash register to and from assigned workstation
  • install and organize cashier workstation with supplies, forms and resource materials
  • maintain cleanliness of workstation
  • complete opening tasks such as organizing supplies and ensuring readiness
  • comply with company security and protection policies, report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions
  • maintain professional and neat uniform and personal appearance
  • uphold confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
  • greet and recognize all guests according to company standards, anticipate and meet service needs, and sincerely thank guests
  • communicate clearly and professionally with others and answer phones using proper protocol
  • cultivate positive working relationships and support team goals
