Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, stands as a national leader in family dining and entertainment. The company proudly operates the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands, creating vibrant, fun-filled environments where kids and families come together to eat, play, and celebrate special moments. Each year, Chuck E. Cheese hosts over half a million birthdays, emphasizing its dedication to crafting joyful and lasting memories through its unique blend of fun, food, and play. The brand is well-known for its commitment to safety through initiatives like Kid Check® and community support, having generously donated more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits. This commitment to innovation and employee welfare earned Chuck E. Cheese the "Best in STEM" award in 2025 and recognition as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces.

Peter Piper Pizza complements this portfolio by offering a neighborhood pizzeria experience focused on quality food, engaging entertainment, and lifelong memories, encapsulating the philosophy that "The Fun is Baked In." These brands champion physical wellness and development in children through various attractions that support motor skills and active play. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment continues to foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and fun that unites families and communities worldwide.

The role currently available is that of a Cashier at Chuck E. Cheese, an ideal opportunity for first-time job seekers or those seeking to build a dynamic career in the entertainment and hospitality industry. Cashiers are the frontline of guest service; they take orders, process payments, assist with prizes, and help maintain a welcoming atmosphere. The company offers a unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing employees access to earned wages on a daily basis rather than waiting for the traditional pay cycle. This role equips employees with cross-training in various positions, empowering them with a well-rounded skill set.

The Cashier position is suitable for energetic, enthusiastic individuals who excel in customer service and can thrive in a lively, fast-paced work environment. Employees must be able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, walk, and squat during their shifts and be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. The work environment involves exposure to flashing and flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, requiring resilience in managing job stress and interaction with guests and team members.

CEC Entertainment offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package for all employees designed to support their overall well-being. Benefits include telemedicine access, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program, tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees may access fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental and vision options, and voluntary life and short-term disability benefits. Full-time employees averaging 29.5+ hours per week are eligible for extensive medical, dental, vision coverage, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays where applicable, and additional educational support.

CEC is committed to maintaining rigorous health and sanitation standards to protect the health of its guests and employees and provides reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
