CEC Entertainment cultivates a culture of inclusion, diversity, and fun, making it a welcoming workplace for employees from various backgrounds. The company is passionate about fostering environments where kids and families can enjoy quality dining and entertainment experiences. Peter Piper Pizza, a neighborhood pizzeria experience, complements this by providing quality food and engaging entertainment that brings families and communities together through a variety of attractions promoting physical wellness and motor skill development in children. CEC’s commitment to play and connection underscores its leadership in the family entertainment industry.
Now hiring Cashiers, CEC Entertainment offers a unique opportunity for both first-time job seekers and career builders. Cashiers serve as the frontline of guest service, responsible for taking orders, processing payments, assisting with prizes, and enhancing the overall guest experience. The role empowers Cast Members with cross-training opportunities in diverse positions, encouraging career advancement since over 60% of managers are promoted from within. The company’s innovative “Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow” wage program allows employees to access earned wages before the usual paycheck schedule, supporting financial flexibility.
The position requires energetic, enthusiastic individuals with excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities include handling transactions accurately and efficiently, interacting warmly with guests, and maintaining the fun spirit of the environment. Physically, cashiers must be able to perform tasks involving lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, squatting, and adapting to a lively, loud workplace with flashing lights and moving mechanical parts. Adherence to health and sanitation standards is essential to ensure the safety of both employees and guests.
CEC emphasizes comprehensive employee benefits, including competitive medical, dental, and vision coverage for full-time employees, alongside paid sick and vacation time, holiday pay where applicable, and retirement savings through a 401(k) plan. Part-time staff have access to fixed indemnity medical coverage and voluntary life and disability benefits. Additional perks include telemedicine, employee meal discounts, tuition savings, scholarships, an Employee Assistance Program, financial relief resources, and strong support for continuing education.
At CEC Entertainment, equal employment opportunity is a core value. The company does not discriminate on any protected basis including race, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, and more, fostering a supportive workplace where diversity thrives. The Cashier position offers more than a job; it offers the beginning of a career filled with opportunities for personal growth and professional development, all within a positive, family-oriented setting where fun is prioritized as much as food and service.
