Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment. The company proudly operates the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands, which together offer a unique combination of dining and amusement that creates joyful, lasting memories for families and communities. Chuck E. Cheese, a widely loved brand, celebrates over half a million birthdays annually, providing a fun, safe, and engaging environment where kids can enjoy food and play. The company is known for its commitment to safety through initiatives like Kid Check® and significant community support, having donated more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits. In 2025, Chuck E. Cheese received the "Best in STEM" award and was named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, underscoring its leadership both in innovation and employee well-being.

Peter Piper Pizza complements this portfolio by offering a neighborhood pizzeria experience focused on quality food and family-friendly entertainment. The brand promotes play and physical wellness through various attractions designed to strengthen motor skills in children. CEC Entertainment operates nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, maintaining a strong presence in the family dining and entertainment industry. A culture of diversity and inclusion is central to the company's values, promoting fun, safety, and community connection through every location.

The role of Cashier at Chuck E. Cheese offers an exciting opportunity for both first-time job seekers and those looking to build a meaningful career in a dynamic and supportive environment. As the frontline of guest service, Cashiers play a vital role by taking orders, processing payments, and assisting guests with prizes. This position offers access to a unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing employees to access earned wages promptly instead of waiting for traditional pay cycles.

Cashiers are empowered through cross-training across various roles, fostering career growth and development – with over 60% of managers promoted from within. This position is open to candidates aged 16 and above who possess excellent customer service skills, an energetic and enthusiastic personality, and the flexibility to work various shifts. Essential job functions include handling physical duties such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing/pulling, walking, and squatting during shifts. Cashiers will also be expected to work in an environment that may include flashing lights, moving parts, and loud noises.

CEC Entertainment provides a competitive benefits package that supports both part-time and full-time employees nationwide. This includes access to telemedicine, early wage access, 401(k) retirement plans, employee meal discounts, educational scholarships, and much more. Full-time employees receive comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays where applicable, and additional benefits like FSA/HSA options, life and disability insurance, and legal coverage. The company emphasizes safety and health with rigorous sanitation standards to protect employees and guests alike.

With a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, CEC Entertainment ensures equal employment opportunities without discrimination based on race, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristics. Candidates can expect a supportive and inclusive workplace culture dedicated to growth, family fun, and memorable guest experiences.
