Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, operating iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, the company has built a strong reputation for creating joyful, lasting memories for families through great food, fun, and play. CEC Entertainment emphasizes safety, community support, and innovation, having donated more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits and receiving accolades like the "Best in STEM" award and recognition as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025.

Chuck E. Cheese, part of CEC Entertainment, is celebrated as a premier family entertainment destination, hosting over half a million birthday parties annually. The brand is committed to fostering a safe environment with programs such as Kid Check, ensuring children’s well-being while offering a fun and engaging experience. Peter Piper Pizza complements this with a neighborhood pizzeria atmosphere that combines quality food with entertainment, emphasizing that "The Fun is Baked In." Both brands focus on promoting physical wellness and developing motor skills in children through various attractions.

The cashier position at Chuck E. Cheese offers an exciting opportunity for first-time job seekers and those looking to build a rewarding career in the hospitality and entertainment industry. As the frontline of guest service, cashiers play a crucial role in taking orders, processing payments, assisting with prizes, and ensuring guests have a memorable experience. This position is ideal for energetic and enthusiastic individuals who enjoy interacting with guests of all ages and thrive in a dynamic work environment.

CEC Entertainment is proud to offer a unique commission structure for cashiers, with commission potential varying based on employment type. Exempt employees can earn commissions ranging from $0.50 to $10.00 for each membership sold and $0.15 to $3.00 for each Fun Pass sold, while non-exempt employees have commission opportunities from $2.00 to $8.00 for memberships and $0.60 to $2.40 for Fun Passes. Commissions are paid out bi-weekly unless state law requires otherwise, providing an additional incentive to motivate and reward employees.

In addition to competitive pay and commissions, Chuck E. Cheese implements a "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing employees to access their earned wages without waiting for the traditional paycheck schedule. This innovative program provides financial flexibility and supports employees' immediate needs.

The work environment demands physical activity, including lifting objects up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting during shifts. Cashiers must also handle job stress effectively and work collaboratively with team members and guests amid flashing lights, mechanical sounds, and lively atmosphere.

CEC Entertainment values diversity and inclusion and fosters a culture where every team member feels respected and empowered. The company provides reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions, ensuring an equitable workplace.

Moreover, CEC Entertainment offers a comprehensive benefits package to support employees nationwide. This includes access to telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, Employee Assistance Programs, tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees may enroll in fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental and vision options, and voluntary life and short-term disability benefits. Full-time employees working an average of 29.5 hours or more per week are eligible for comprehensive health benefits, paid time off, holidays, flexible spending accounts, life and disability insurance, voluntary benefits, legal coverage, and additional education and student loan support.

With a strong commitment to employee well-being, career growth, and community impact, joining CEC Entertainment as a cashier opens doors to a fulfilling career path in a fun and supportive environment.
