Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment. The company proudly operates the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands. These venues are beloved destinations that create joyful, lasting memories for families and children through a unique blend of fun, food, and play. Chuck E. Cheese alone celebrates over half a million birthdays annually and is known as the place Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®. The brand emphasizes safety, community involvement, and innovation, reflected in initiatives such as the Kid Check® program and substantial donations exceeding $24 million to schools and nonprofits. The company has been recognized for its leadership in both STEM education and employee satisfaction, receiving the “Best in STEM” award in 2025 and being named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces.

CEC Entertainment operates nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries. The Peter Piper Pizza brand provides a neighborhood pizzeria experience that combines quality food and engaging entertainment while promoting fun that is baked in, not added on. Both brands foster physical wellness and motor skills development in children through their interactive attractions and games. CEC maintains a strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, and a positive company culture that celebrates family, fun, and community.

The role of Cashier at Chuck E. Cheese is an essential frontline position responsible for delivering excellent guest service. Cashiers are the first point of interaction for customers as they take orders, process payments, assist with prize distribution, and support various guest needs. This position offers a great opportunity for first-time job seekers or individuals looking to build a rewarding career in the family entertainment industry. Employees can take advantage of robust cross-training across different positions, allowing them to develop a broad skill set and future career opportunities within the company. Over 60% of Chuck E. Cheese managers are promoted from within, demonstrating the company’s dedication to employee growth and internal advancement.

Chuck E. Cheese offers a "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program that provides employees quick access to their earned wages, improving financial flexibility by eliminating the wait between paychecks. The commission structure for this position varies by employment status: exempt employees can earn between $0.50 and $10.00 for each membership sold and between $0.15 and $3.00 for each Fun Pass sold, while non-exempt employees earn commissions ranging from $2.00 to $8.00 per membership and $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass, with pay distributed bi-weekly.

Cashiers must be able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and lift objects up to 50 pounds during their shifts. The work environment is dynamic and includes exposure to flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, requiring employees to be energetic, enthusiastic, and able to handle job-related stress effectively while interacting with guests and co-workers.

CEC Entertainment offers comprehensive benefits to support employees nationwide, including telemedicine access, early wage access, 401(k) retirement plans, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees have access to fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental and vision options, and voluntary life and short-term disability benefits. Full-time employees working an average of 29.5 or more hours per week are eligible for extensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays where applicable, FSA/HSA options, life and disability insurance, voluntary benefits, legal coverage, plus educational and student loan support.

CEC Entertainment is committed to fair and inclusive hiring, providing reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities and adhering to state and local compliance requirements such as paid sick leave. The company strongly values diversity and equal opportunity, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds and protected classes.
