Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC (CEC) is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, headquartered in Irving, Texas. The company proudly operates the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment dedicates itself to creating joyful, lasting memories through fun, food, and play. Celebrating over half a million birthdays annually, the Chuck E. Cheese brand embodies the spirit of "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®" by providing a safe, engaging environment for kids and their families. Beyond entertainment, CEC is also committed to community support, donating more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits and maintaining high safety standards through initiatives like Kid Check®. In 2025, Chuck E. Cheese gained recognition for excellence by receiving the "Best in STEM" award and being named one of America's Greatest Workplaces, showcasing its dedication to innovation and employee well-being.

CEC Entertainment is currently hiring Cashiers, an essential role within its dynamic team. Cashiers are the frontline of guest service as they take orders, process payments, assist with prizes, and contribute significantly to delivering an exceptional family experience. This position is well-suited for first-time job seekers or those looking to build an exciting career path with ample growth opportunities, as over 60% of managers at CEC were promoted from within. Employees are empowered through cross-training in various positions, fostering a comprehensive skill set and teamwork. Cashiers at Chuck E. Cheese also benefit from the company’s innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, providing earned wage access without the wait between paychecks.

The role requires energetic and enthusiastic individuals with excellent customer service skills who can efficiently handle a fast-paced, fun environment. Essential physical capabilities include lifting up to 50 pounds and being able to stand, bend, kneel, and move actively throughout the shift. The work environment encompasses flashing lights, mechanical moving parts, and occasional loud noises, so adaptability and stress management are key traits for success. The position offers a commission-based earning potential with varying payout rates depending on the status of exempt or non-exempt classifications, with payments issued bi-weekly.

CEC’s commitment to its employees extends through competitive benefits and inclusive policies supporting diverse and equitable workforce representation. Employees enjoy access to telemedicine, early wage access, retirement plans, meal discounts, tuition savings, scholarships, and more. Part-time and full-time employees have access to tailored medical, dental, vision, and voluntary benefits reflecting the company's comprehensive approach to health and financial wellness. The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer, embracing diversity across all protected classes and ensuring reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform their essential job functions.
