Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, headquartered in Irving, Texas. The company proudly operates the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands. With a strong commitment to creating joyful, lasting memories for families, CEC Entertainment celebrates over half a million birthdays annually, making it one of the most beloved destinations for kids and families to eat, play, and have fun. The establishments are designed to be safe, welcoming, and full of engaging entertainment options that bring families and communities together. Their dedication to safety is exemplified through programs like Kid Check® and extensive donations exceeding $24 million to schools and nonprofit organizations. The company’s innovation and employee satisfaction have been recognized with awards including the “Best in STEM” accolade and being named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025.

CEC Entertainment operates nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations along with over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries. Their culture celebrates diversity, inclusion, and the power of play as an essential part of childhood development and family connection. They support physical wellness and motor skills development in kids through a variety of fun and interactive attractions. With a workplace environment that values growth, development, and community, CEC Entertainment provides not only a job but a career path for many of its staff members, over 60% of whom have been promoted from within.

The available Cashier role is a frontline guest service position where team members take orders, process payments, assist with prizes, and contribute to creating an enjoyable and positive experience for guests. This role is ideal for first-time job seekers or anyone looking to develop their career in customer service and entertainment industries. Cashiers at CEC Entertainment are empowered to deliver exceptional service through cross-training in diverse responsibilities, supporting a dynamic and inclusive work environment.

Compensation for Cashiers ranges hourly from $11.14 to $13.42, with commission opportunities tied to membership and Fun Pass sales, offering financial incentives paid bi-weekly. Newly introduced programs like “Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow” provide employees early access to earned wages, adding flexibility and immediacy to their compensation experience. Benefits include competitive pay, flexible scheduling, a 50% meal discount during shifts, scholarships, employee referral perks, and assistance funds during personal catastrophes.

Working as a Cashier involves physically active duties such as lifting objects up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, kneeling, and other movements essential to serving guests efficiently. The work environment might contain flashing lights, mechanical components, and moderate noise, requiring staff to handle job-related stress while interacting effectively with guests and colleagues. At CEC Entertainment, inclusivity, safety protocols, and rigorous health standards are integral to daily operations, ensuring a secure and supportive experience for both employees and patrons.

CEC Entertainment is committed to equal employment opportunities, striving to foster a workforce that reflects the diverse backgrounds and perspectives of its guests. The company does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, or any other protected class under federal, state, or local law. Joining CEC Entertainment means becoming part of a team that values fun, family, and growth, where every Cast Member plays a key role in delivering memorable experiences to families everywhere.
