Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment. With iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck’s Arcade, CEC Entertainment has established itself as a premier destination for families seeking fun, food, and memorable experiences. Serving millions of guests annually, the company operates nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, making it a strong presence in the industry.
Chuck E. Cheese is celebrated as a place "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®," emphasizing safety, community involvement, and creating joyful, lasting memories. The company has donated over $24 million to schools and nonprofits, showcasing its commitment to the communities it serves. With rigorous health and sanitation standards and safety programs like Kid Check®, CEC Entertainment prioritizes the wellbeing of both guests and employees. Awards such as the "Best in STEM" and recognition as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces highlight its dedication to innovation and employee wellness.
Now hiring Cashiers, CEC Entertainment offers a vibrant, family-friendly working environment that’s ideal for first-time job seekers or individuals looking to build an exciting career in hospitality and entertainment. Cashiers at Chuck E. Cheese are the frontline of guest service, responsible for taking orders, processing payments, helping with prizes, and much more. They play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional customer experience that aligns with the company’s mission to make dining and playing fun for families.
The Cashier position includes the unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, which allows employees to access earned wages daily, rather than waiting for traditional bi-weekly paychecks. This innovative compensation approach is part of CEC’s commitment to supporting its workforce. The role offers competitive pay, a 50% discount on meals during shifts, flexible schedules, scholarships, perks and discounts, an employee referral program, and access to the CEC Cares Fund, which assists employees during times of catastrophe.
Cashiers should be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess excellent customer service skills. The job requires being able to handle physical activities such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting during scheduled shifts. The position also requires the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with flashing lights, loud noises, and moving mechanical parts. CEC Entertainment accommodates individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
As a company, CEC Entertainment fosters a diverse and inclusive culture, welcoming all candidates regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other federally or locally protected status. This commitment to diversity and inclusion is deeply embedded in the company’s values, ensuring a respectful and supportive workplace where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
