Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, operating the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment is dedicated to creating joyful, lasting memories for families and communities through fun, food, and play. The company is known for championing a safe and inclusive environment where kids can enjoy themselves and families can connect. Chuck E. Cheese alone celebrates over half a million birthdays annually, emphasizing its pivotal role in family entertainment and community life.
Chuck E. Cheese is committed to safety, innovation, and employee well-being, having received accolades such as the "Best in STEM" award and being named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025. Its programs, such as Kid Check®, and significant community contributions, including more than $24 million donated to schools and nonprofits, highlight its commitment to social responsibility. The company culture is grounded in diversity, inclusion, and fostering fun and play, making it not just a place of work but a community where employees and guests alike feel valued and supported.
The company is currently hiring Cashiers, who are the frontline of guest service. As a Cashier at Chuck E. Cheese, you will be the face of the company, handling guest orders, processing payments, and assisting with prizes and other guest interactions. This role is perfect for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a career in the family entertainment industry. Employees are empowered through cross-training in various positions, with over 60% of managers promoted from within, signaling the company’s strong commitment to career growth and development.
Chuck E. Cheese offers competitive pay and an innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, giving employees access to earned wages without waiting for the traditional paycheck cycle. Employees receive a 50% discount on meals during shifts, flexible scheduling to accommodate personal needs, and participation in perks and discounts programs. Furthermore, scholarships and an employee referral program provide additional avenues for personal and professional growth. There is also a CEC Cares Fund, designed to support employees experiencing hardships due to catastrophes.
The role requires energetic, enthusiastic individuals with excellent customer service skills. Cashiers must be able to work various shifts and handle physical job demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing/pulling, walking, and squatting during shifts. The work environment includes flashing lights, mechanical parts in motion, and some loud noise, requiring the ability to manage stress effectively and interact positively with guests and coworkers.
CEC Entertainment prioritizes the health and safety of its workforce and guests by maintaining rigorous sanitation and operational protocols that meet or exceed local health requirements. Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. The company enforces equal employment opportunity across all demographics, embracing a workforce as diverse as the guests it serves, free from discrimination based on race, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or other protected classes.
