Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC is a nationally recognized leader in the family dining and entertainment industry. Headquartered in Irving, Texas, the company proudly operates the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands. These brands have become household names, celebrated for their unique ability to combine great food with engaging entertainment, creating an ideal atmosphere where families and children can come together to celebrate, play, and make lasting memories. Chuck E. Cheese, known as the place "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®," hosts over half a million birthday parties annually, emphasizing joyful experiences through fun, food, and play. The company is committed to safety and community involvement, demonstrated through programs like Kid Check® and significant charitable contributions exceeding $24 million to schools and nonprofits.

Peter Piper Pizza offers a neighborhood pizzeria experience that combines quality food with engaging entertainment. Both brands focus on promoting physical wellness and motor skills development in children through diverse attractions and interactive play opportunities. In 2025, Chuck E. Cheese was honored with the "Best in STEM" award and was named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, reflecting the company’s dedication to innovation and employee well-being.

CEC Entertainment and its franchisees operate nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion, with a strong emphasis on fun and family unity.

Now hiring cashiers, CEC Entertainment is offering a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking a rewarding entry-level job or a career in the entertainment and hospitality sector. Cashiers are the frontline of guest service, responsible for taking orders, processing payments, helping with prizes, and contributing to a positive and exciting guest experience. This role is essential to ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued as part of their visit.

The position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $16.90 to $17.90 with a commission potential that varies depending on exempt or non-exempt status. Exempt employees can earn additional commissions from $0.50 to $10.00 for each membership sold and $0.15 to $3.00 for each Fun Pass sold, paid out bi-weekly. Non-exempt employees are eligible for commissions ranging from $2.00 to $8.00 for memberships and $0.60 to $2.40 for Fun Passes sold, also paid bi-weekly.

Employees benefit from the innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, eliminating the wait between paychecks, along with a 50% discount on meals during shifts, scholarships, flexible scheduling, perks and discounts programs, an employee referral program, and the CEC Cares Fund, which assists employees during catastrophes.

The work environment is dynamic, including exposure to flashing lights, mechanical parts, and loud noises, requiring physical activity such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, kneeling, and moving throughout the shift. The role demands excellent customer service skills, an energetic and enthusiastic personality, and the ability to work varied shifts.
