Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, headquartered in Irving, Texas. The company proudly operates the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands, providing fun and engaging environments where kids and families can come together to eat, play, and celebrate life’s special moments. Chuck E. Cheese alone celebrates over half a million birthdays annually, creating joyful and lasting memories through its combination of food, play, and entertainment. Known as the place "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid," the brand is deeply committed to safety through programs like Kid Check® and community support, having donated more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits. In 2025, Chuck E. Cheese was honored with the "Best in STEM" award and recognized as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, solidifying its position as an industry innovator and champion of employee well-being.

Peter Piper Pizza complements this family entertainment experience by offering a neighborhood pizzeria atmosphere focused on quality food and engaging entertainment. True to their slogan, "The Fun is Baked In," Peter Piper Pizza creates an environment that strengthens family and community bonds through amusement and connection. Both brands emphasize physical wellness and developmental benefits for children with attractions aimed at supporting motor skills and encouraging active play.

CEC Entertainment and its franchisees operate nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion, and fun. The company’s commitment to safety, health, and employee support is evident through rigorous health and sanitation standards and operational protocols designed to protect both guests and team members. Reasonable accommodations are made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions, reflecting CEC's inclusive work environment.

The company is currently hiring Cashiers, frontline guest service representatives who play a critical role in ensuring a positive customer experience. This role involves taking orders, processing payments, assisting with prizes, and engaging with guests in a lively, energetic setting. Chuck E. Cheese offers an exciting entry-level opportunity ideal for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a career within a supportive and fun work culture. Employees are cross-trained in various positions, empowering Cast Members with versatile skills and knowledge. Over 60% of the company’s managers have been promoted from within, highlighting the potential for career advancement.

Cashiers at Chuck E. Cheese benefit from competitive pay structures, including commission potentials based on Membership and Fun Pass sales. For exempt employees, commissions range from $0.50 to $10.00 per Membership sold and $0.15 to $3.00 per Fun Pass sold, paid bi-weekly unless state law requires otherwise. Non-exempt employees earn commissions from $2.00 to $8.00 per Membership and $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass, also paid bi-weekly. Employees also enjoy access to Chuck E. Cheese’s innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, which allows them to access earned wages without waiting for traditional pay cycles.

Additional benefits include a 50% discount on meals during shifts, flexible work schedules, scholarships, perks and discount programs, an employee referral program, and the CEC Cares Fund, which supports employees during times of catastrophe. The role demands the physical capability to lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds and to stand, bend, kneel, and perform other physical activities throughout a shift. Working at Chuck E.
