Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC ("CEC"), headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment. The company proudly operates iconic brands including Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade, making it a household name for family fun and memorable experiences. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues spanning 45 states and 18 countries, CEC has established itself as a premier destination where families can enjoy delicious food, engaging entertainment, and quality time together.
Chuck E. Cheese is dedicated to being the best place for kids and families to eat and play, celebrating over half a million birthdays annually. The brand is deeply committed to safety, community support, and innovation. Safety programs like Kid Check® ensure peace of mind for parents, while CEC’s significant charitable contributions—exceeding $24 million to schools and nonprofits—reflect its dedication to giving back. The company was honored with the "Best in STEM" award and recognized as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025, showcasing leadership in both workforce excellence and innovation.
Peter Piper Pizza complements the family dining experience by offering neighborhood pizzarias with quality food and entertainment that emphasizes the philosophy "The Fun is Baked In." Both brands focus on enriching children’s physical wellness and motor skills development through play and engaging attractions.
The role currently open is for a Cashier position at Chuck E. Cheese, ideal for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a rewarding career in a dynamic environment. Cashiers serve as the frontline of guest service by taking orders, processing payments, assisting with prizes, and ensuring every guest has a positive and memorable experience. As a member of the team, employees receive extensive cross-training, enabling them to grow and potentially move up within the company, as demonstrated by the fact that over 60 percent of managers are promoted from within.
Chuck E. Cheese offers competitive pay with commission opportunities based on membership and Fun Pass sales, paid bi-weekly. Notably, the company provides an innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing employees faster access to their earned wages. Employees also benefit from a 50 percent meal discount during shifts, flexible schedules, scholarships, perks and discounts programs, an employee referral program, and assistance through the CEC Cares Fund for emergencies.
The cashier position requires energetic and enthusiastic individuals with excellent customer service skills, capable of handling physical aspects of the job such as lifting up to 50 pounds and managing fast-paced, sometimes noisy environments. The company maintains rigorous health and sanitation standards to protect the wellbeing of employees and guests alike and is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
CEC Entertainment fosters a diverse and inclusive work environment where all employees are valued regardless of race, gender, age, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristics. This inclusive culture emphasizes respect, collaboration, and growth, making it an excellent place to start or advance a career in the family entertainment sector.
