The role of Deli/Barista/Cashier at Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate is an integral part of the Food & Beverage team, focusing on delivering exceptional service with a friendly and efficient approach. This position is responsible for preparing quality food and beverage offerings, handling cash transactions, supporting inventory management, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards throughout the work environment. As a front-facing role, it requires excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members, ensuring a positive and memorable guest experience. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual with a passion for service, possessing knowledge of proper food handling procedures, equipment use, and safety protocols. The position demands flexibility regarding work schedules, including availability on weekends and holidays, and adherence to Omni’s high standards of professional behavior and appearance. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year cash handling experience
  • Basic math skills
  • Good eye/hand coordination
  • Working knowledge of sanitation standards
  • State of Florida food safety certification
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to stand for up to eight hours
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year cash handling experience
  • Basic math skills for recipe and measurement implementation
  • Good eye/hand coordination for kitchen equipment use
  • Working knowledge of sanitation standards
  • Ability to prepare daily requisition for supplies and food items
  • Teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of food preparation and storage standards
  • Support food and beverage portion and waste controls
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes
  • Maintain compliance with State of Florida Health Department codes
  • State of Florida food safety certification
  • 1-year minimum work-related experience
