This role also involves supporting facility operations by performing designated opening and closing duties, restocking supplies, and following all established guidelines on Food Handler and Alcohol Service training where applicable. The job can be physically demanding, involving periods of walking, standing, and performing tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or cashier roles preferred
  • Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems accurately
  • Familiarity with basic math skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Must comply with local food handler and alcohol service regulations
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
  • Must be dependable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • Past customer support background is an advantage
  • Prior experience with cash transactions is desired
  • Proficiency in basic arithmetic and numerical concepts is a prerequisite
  • Capability to work self-sufficiently with restricted supervision
  • Compliance with Food Handler and Alcohol Service training is obligatory based on the location's guidelines
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged standing and walking
  • Willingness to wear particular attire and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required

Job Duties

  • Securely process cash and credit card transactions with efficiency by operating the Register/POS system accurately
  • Engage with customers by anticipating their needs and delivering assistance to ensure a positive interaction
  • Keep track of the cash drawer by counting, structuring, and balancing the cash within it
  • Complete cashier slips and make timely bank deposits
  • Adhere to the cash management procedures outlined by Aramark to maintain compliance
  • Gain familiarity with the products available for sale to assist customers effectively and accurately manage transactions
  • Execute the specified opening and closing duties as per the designated operating hours of the unit
  • Keep the workspace clean and sanitized at all times, including after the shift ends
  • Keep the area adequately supplied by replenishing items as necessary throughout service
  • Observe and uphold all safety policies and procedures
