Previous retail or cashier experience preferred

Job Duties

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
Process transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers and other equipment
Maintain knowledge of products and services offered by Costco and provide recommendations to customers as needed
Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-end area, including registers, counters, and shopping carts
Assist with bagging and loading customer purchases as needed
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the front-end department
Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, returns, and exchanges
Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management to resolve any issues or concerns
Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards all customers and team members
Continuously seek opportunities to improve customer service and operational efficiency
Adhere to all safety and security protocols to ensure a safe shopping environment for customers and team members
Attend and actively participate in team meetings and trainings as required
Assist with other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management
