With nearly 2,800 stores across 35 states operating under 28 different banners, Kroger is a beacon of diversity, innovation, and community-centered service in the retail grocery industry. The company is dedicated to feeding the human spirit by offering a variety of food products and customer experiences designed to make a positive impact on the communities it serves. Kroger's commitment to excellence is embodied by its core values which include respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. These values guide every action and decision within the company, ensuring that both customers and employees feel valued and supported.

At Kroger, people truly matter. This philosophy extends beyond providing high-quality food and retail experiences to the caring approach Kroger takes with its employees. Through comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment, Kroger is committed to helping its associates grow professionally and personally. Whether seeking part-time work or a long-term career, Kroger offers opportunities for passionate and dedicated individuals to thrive. The role of Cashier/Checker at Kroger is central to accomplishing the goal of creating outstanding customer experiences through exceptional service. The responsibilities also extend to ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and company policies on sensitive sales such as alcohol and tobacco. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, and epitomizes Kroger's core values in every interaction.

This position offers flexible scheduling options in both part-time and full-time capacities. Associates receive competitive pay, access to health and wellness benefits, and enjoy perks like discounts on a broad range of products and opportunities for continuing education and professional development. Kroger provides a supportive culture, where employee well-being—physical, emotional, and financial—is a top priority, illustrated by programs such as free counseling and financial coaching. Those who join Kroger are not just employees; they become part of a family that values diversity and is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of customers and communities alike.
