As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing all types of transactions including cash, credit, and electronic payments accurately and efficiently. Accuracy is paramount in this role to guarantee the correct calculation of bills and handing back the correct change. The ideal candidate will provide outstanding hospitality by greeting each customer warmly, addressing any inquiries, and managing concerns in a friendly and professional manner. Your role also includes managing incoming orders by entering them accurately into the point-of-sale system and coordinating with the kitchen team to facilitate timely and precise fulfillment of orders.
A keen understanding of our restaurant's menu, especially our range of meats and complementary side dishes, is important. This knowledge enables you to answer customer questions informatively and to suggest additional menu items that enhance their dining experience. Maintaining a clean and organized cashier area, which includes the careful management and storage of cash and related materials, is essential to uphold both efficiency and security. Furthermore, the role requires a willingness to support the management team by completing assigned tasks promptly and cooperatively.

Job Duties
- process cash credit and electronic transactions accurately and efficiently ensuring precise calculation of bills and change for customers
- provide excellent hospitality by greeting customers assisting with inquiries and addressing concerns or issues in a polite and professional manner
- efficiently handle incoming orders accurately input them into the point-of-sale pos system and coordinate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate order preparation
- familiarity with the restaurant's menu offerings including meats and accompanying sides to effectively describe items and recommend additional purchases to enhance the customer's dining experience
- maintain a neat and organized cash register area including proper storage of cash change and related supplies
- ability to complete tasks asked for by the management team
