This job opportunity is for a full-time Cashier position located at Minnesota State University Moorhead. The role is primarily based on weekday afternoon and evening shifts, with specifics shared during the interview process. Pay for this role ranges from $16 to $17 per hour, providing competitive compensation aligned with responsibilities and regional standards.

As a Cashier at Sodexo, you will be a key part of the retail operation, responsible for handling cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently. Your main duty is to operate the cash register or point-of-sale system to complete sales transactions while maintaining the highest standard of customer service. Supporting the retail setup and maintaining supplies are also vital parts of the job, including assisting with cleanup and closing duties to keep the operation running smoothly and effectively. This position requires you to maintain proper security of cash at all times and to interact positively with customers to enhance their experience.

Physical demands include standing or walking for extended periods, sometimes beyond eight hours, and being able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds occasionally. Dependability and punctuality are crucial, as is a willingness to perform duties assigned by management that may vary depending on location and business needs.

If the location serves alcohol, applicants must meet minimum legal age requirements and may need to complete relevant alcohol-service certifications such as TIPS or TEAM, adhering to state-specific regulations.
