This part-time Cashier position is based at the Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Schools location with Sodexo, offering an hourly pay rate of $14. The shift schedule primarily encompasses morning hours with varying days, allowing for some flexibility. This role involves direct engagement with customers in retail settings, primarily handling cash and credit transactions. The position requires accuracy in operating point-of-sale systems, maintaining proper cash security, and supporting retail operations including setup, maintaining inventory, and closing duties. The cashier represents the frontline of customer service and plays a crucial role in delivering a positive dining or shopping experience, directly impacting Sodexo’s commitment to quality and satisfaction. In this role, you will be responsible for managing transactions efficiently and securely while also providing exceptional customer service. Physical stamina is essential as the job entails standing or walking for extended periods during shifts that may exceed eight hours. The ability to lift and move supplies weighing up to 35 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds is necessary. The position may require certifications such as TIPS or TEAM for locations serving alcohol, applying local laws and regulations.
