In addition to these customer interaction duties, the Retail Associate ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding the sale of items such as alcohol, tobacco, and lottery tickets. The associate is also responsible for verifying customer identification when required and performing product transactions in line with company policies. Workplace safety is a priority in this role, and employees are expected to actively contribute to creating a secure environment.

The role extends beyond customer-facing tasks. The Retail Associate performs essential operational duties such as stocking shelves, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the store, including outside areas and restrooms, and preparing hot food items according to store procedures.
