The Customer Service / Cashier position at Peace Love and Pizza is a pivotal role within the business, serving as the first point of contact for all guests entering the restaurant or calling in orders. This position is affectionately named the VIP role, reflecting its importance in shaping the customer’s first impression and overall experience. The successful candidate will embody the spirit of PLP by greeting customers with a genuine smile, engaging with them warmly, and personalizing their experience to ensure they leave feeling valued and satisfied. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced work environment where they can move quickly, multitask efficiently, and maintain a cheerful attitude.

In addition to greeting customers, you will be responsible for accurately processing orders using the company’s computerized ordering system and handling phone inquiries with professionalism and care. Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the store is also a critical aspect of the role. This includes wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping floors, and helping with dishwashing duties as needed. The role also involves preparing customer items like folding pizza slices, portioning salads or desserts, and occasionally distributing coupons and menus to promote the restaurant locally.
