The role of a Cashier at California Fish Grill is an hourly, non-exempt position dedicated to processing cash and credit card transactions accurately during the restaurant's serving hours. In this role, the Cashier is responsible for greeting guests, taking accurate food orders, processing payments, managing gift card requests, and verifying age for alcoholic beverage sales in compliance with state laws. Cleanliness and maintenance of work areas and equipment are also essential.
