The role of Head Cashier is pivotal in our front-end operations. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- background in retail cashiering
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- basic math skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- provide customers with fast, friendly, accurate and safe service
- process checkout and/or return transactions
- monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
- proactively seek product/project knowledge to provide customers with information and identify selling opportunities
- position cashiers and support them by expediting price checks
- approve point of sale transactions and markdowns for mainline registers, self-checkout, returns, pro desk, special services, and tool rental
- provide first level escalation for customer issues
- assist in the supervision, coaching and training of other front end associates
- participate in the training of new cashiers
- utilize all available tools to coach and develop other cashiers
