Working within such an establishment requires a strong commitment to regulatory adherence, detailed record keeping, and exemplary communication skills among team members.

The role is that of a Cashier, essential in facilitating seamless monetary exchanges between casino guests and employees. This position demands a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure transactions involving cash, credit cards, jackpots, and other monetary instruments are handled correctly and in accordance with company policies as well as legal regulations like OSHA standards. Cashiers play a pivotal role in promoting the casino's active promotions, cash games, and tournaments, particularly in the poker and table games rooms, contributing to the overall entertainment experience of the guests. Employment type specifics such as full-time or part-time were not provided, and salary details are not disclosed.

The Cashier's responsibilities extend to maintaining balanced cage operations during shifts, processing jackpot payouts, verifying proper guest identification for various transactions in line with Title 31 compliance, and completing necessary tax and financial paperwork (W2G, 1099, 1042S). Additionally, the role involves recording cash transactions exceeding set thresholds, handling currency transaction reports (CTR) for large cash exchanges, and setting up cash advances on credit or debit cards via the cash processing system. This position requires thorough engagement with regulatory compliance, including annual BSA/AML training, reporting suspicious activities, and maintaining detailed and accurate logs within the casino transaction system.

Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, and reaching, occasional sitting, and the occasional lifting or moving of up to 10 pounds. Visual requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Verbal and auditory capabilities are necessary for effective communication with guests and team members, enabling the cashier to perform securely and efficiently within the lively casino environment characterized by moderate noise levels. Overall, the role suits detail-oriented individuals with strong math skills, problem-solving ability, and a readiness to maintain integrity in a fast-paced, regulated setting.
