Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1 year experience as a cashier
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of point of sale systems
- ability to handle cash accurately
- good communication skills
- basic math skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- prior cashier experience preferred

Job Duties
- process checkout and return transactions
- monitor and maintain self-checkout area
- assist customers by providing product and project information
- identify and promote selling opportunities
- follow policies to reduce shrink
- position cashiers to optimize workflow
- expedite price checks
- approve point of sale transactions and markdowns
- provide first level escalation for customer issues
- support and coach front end associates
- participate in training new cashiers
- use available tools to develop cashier skills
